I’ve been there. I know what it’s like. I can help.

I am a compassionate and dedicated sober companion & coach, and committed to helping individuals overcome addiction and achieve long-term sobriety. With years of experience in the field, I have developed a deep understanding of the complexities of addiction and the unique challenges that individuals face on their journey towards recovery.

My own journey towards sobriety began over fourteen years agon when I realized the destructive impact that addiction was having on my own life and even worse, on the lives of my loved ones. After struggling with addiction for many years, I made the decision to seek help and begin my own journey towards recovery. Through this process, I developed a deep appreciation for the power of support, guidance, and community in overcoming addiction.

What is a Sober Companion?

Addiction is a chronic disease that can have serious physical, emotional, and social consequences. Recovery from addiction is a long and challenging journey that requires a combination of medical treatment, therapy, and support. One type of support that has become increasingly popular in recent years is the use of sober companions.

A sober companion is a person who provides support and assistance to individuals who are in the process of overcoming addiction or behavioral issues. They are typically hired by individuals or families who are concerned about the well-being of their loved ones and want to provide additional support during the recovery process.

The role of a sober companion can vary depending on the needs of the individual they are working with, but they typically provide the following services:

Monitoring: They make sure that the individual is staying away from drugs, alcohol or other triggers.
Accountability: They hold the individual accountable for their actions and help them stay on track in their recovery.
Support: They provide emotional support and encouragement during the recovery process.
Guidance: They provide guidance on how to handle cravings and temptations, and offer coping mechanisms for stress.
Transportation: They may also accompany the individual to appointments, meetings, and events to ensure their safety.

A sober companion can be an important resource for those who are looking to maintain their sobriety and build a healthy, fulfilling life in recovery.

BUSINESSMAN

At the beginning of my current sobriety, Dan spent 10 weeks with me as my sober companion. As everyone knows, I have dealt with alcohol problems most of my life and he is the first person to give me TOOLS that actually put an end to my destructive choices and behavior. Clinical counselors in my opinion are a joke. Dan for me is one of a kind and I’m positive he can help you too.
